The Media Archive is a place to store assets you are not currently utilizing, but don't want to delete. Example case: you used them on a previous project and want to keep them around for reference, but don't want them in the Media Vault.
To access the archive, click the "Media Archive" link from within the Media Vault as shown. Note: the link will not be active unless you actually have archived files.
The archive interface is virtually identical to that of the Media Vault, including the four tabs indicating each of the media types. The actions icons differ slightly; while you can download and delete an asset, you can not edit assets while they're in the Media Archive.
To quickly jump back to the Media Vault, click the "Media Vault" link as shown.
